Hi.  Yippee, its Friday! Have you been to a live auction lately?  I saw this story about how people who go to auction sales often pay too much because they are worried about losing out  in front of other people.   They get all caught up in the moment and overbid for something they probably don't even really want. That got me to thinking how, in the past, I have become downright angry at people who were bidding against me at auctions.  I don't even like auctions....but you get all caught up in the moment!  The research says people hate to lose much more than they like to win.  Perhaps this explains why I have this picture of a koala bear at home even though it doesn't really suit my home at all.   Same for my coffee tables that look like cats.  They're kinda cute but I have two of them.  Got them at an auction.  I am however still angry that I let that "tail pipe" that used to be on Elvis' plane go for a mere $75 dollars.  That would have been a steal and I could have placed it on my cat coffee tables below my koala bear painting.
