I know its become a well known fact that I am directionally challenged!   That is why someone gave me a GPS for the car.  I love it except that on the weekend something happened that made me less than secure about its capabilities.   Armed with two maps....yes, two and my gps.....my friends and I set out for Listowel.   I'd never been there and had no clue where it was.   You have to have an exact address to plug into the GPS...you can't just say " find LIstowel"....so we got the street address of the motel we were looking for and settled in for the long ride.   We hit something called a "roundabout"....which offered us three options....we tried every one of them and still couldn't figure out which was right.   Once we overcame that obstacle.....it should have been straight to Listowel.  We arrive at the town limits......at which point the GPS says "arriving at  destination on right"....in that sickly sweet voice it has!  What?  Where?   There's a vacant field.  I don't see a motel.....I just see some cows.  Again with the " arriving at destination".......  We must have gone up and down the same street at least a half dozen times.....each time getting a different route from the voice in the box. Now...don't get me wrong.....its am amazing tool......but it isn't perfect.   But the cows did share their corn and we had a good time before heading home.     I didn't bother setting the destinatiion.....
