Welcome to a Friday!  First, I have to say I'm very excited to have my mom visiting with me for the week. While I'm at work she's been at the house helping get me in shape for winter!   And Heaven knows I need some help!!!!  This woman has an odd love of housecleaning--a gene I did not inherit--and so she is currently alphabeticizing my dishware.   I don't know why!  She has informed me that she has made everything much more handy FOR ME!!!!   I'm not sure how moving my plates from the left side of the cupboard to the right makes that much difference but Mom is always right!!!!  Last night....what a hoot....we cleaned out my fridge.   I could barely contain my glee!!! Its funny how the visit always starts with oodles of compliments about my decorating abilities and how lovely everything looks and then a week into it....the comments are more like " I don't know how you can live in this pig sty" and " no wonder you don't get anything accomplished"......My mom's answer to anything that ails you has always been "get busy and clean out a closet and then you'll feel better".  But that has never--not even once--worked for me! My answer for everything is always been more like "I'm going out and shutting the door behind me...let's have fun!"  Hence....the pig sty situation!!!!!   I can hardly wait to see what adventure she has dreamed up for us tonight....toilet scrubbing? oven cleaning?  laundry?   I can only dare to dream......
