I'm so excited about this weekend...I'm spending almost the entire weekend getting caught up with my girlfriends. I've been so busy with work, the holidays, and then the trip to Jamaica that I'm starved for details on all of their lives!! There's nothing better for the soul than a heart to heart with your gf's:)

I cant believe how many phone calls we had after having Chef Lisa on the show with us to chat about a really neat Valentine's event coming up on Saturday Feb 14th. The event is called "Lovers and Ladles"...a fundraiser for Theatre By The Bay...here's how it works..

The guys show up at Georgian College on V-Day at around 1:30 and are taken through the steps of preparing a gourmet meal for their loved one. The girls arrive at around 6 to be served this delicious meal by their husbands who will then wine and dine them the rest of the evening...

I love this concept...while going out for dinner is still romantic...it seems to be so much more so when someone goes to the effort of making it for you. This is a chance to combine the best of both worlds...the hubby puts in the work...and you still get to get gussied up and go out for the evening.
