Good morning!

I hope you are all well and are resting up for the big night of Trick or Treating tomorrow night. Although I have made it public that I personally dont care for the occasion, I do look forward to seeing all of the little ghosts and goblins running at break neck speeds around the neighborhood.

I have talked about my feelings or lack of them for Hallowe'en on several occasions on the morning show but I dont think I have explained myself very well because I've had the odd youngin' that listens confront me about my Grinchiness when it comes to the big night. I want to make it clear that my feelings do not stop me from enjoying other people's excitement at Hallowe'en...I just dont exactly share it:)

This may be hard to believe but even as a child, I have never liked Hallowe'en. For someone with a voracious appetite for anything sweet, my feelings never made sense to me or anyone else in my family.  All I know is that as the big day draws near, I begin to feel inexplicably cranky which for me, is out of the norm. When the actual day arrives, I literally wake up in a bad mood( again out of character) and it doesn't go away until the the clock strikes midnight. In fact, Jamie often compares trying the get me to wear a  Hallowe'en costume  to trying to coerce Sophie into her snowsuit...only my noodle girl tantrum lasts longer than Sophie's:)

 I honestly dont know why I feel this way...one would think that Valentine's Day would be the true albatross to someone who's spent alot of them eating Haagan Daaz with her girlfriends but no...it's all Hallow's Eve that I would rather spend with my head under the covers...

Whatever the reason for my malady, I promise not to ruin your fun tomorrow morning on the Hallowe'en edition of our morning show...you dont deserve that...I'll just take it out on Jamie behind the scenes:)
